‘Jack White’ is an excellent variety from Alan Bishop, Pekin, Indiana, USA. Developed from the cross of ‘White Beauty and ‘White Tomesol’. Unlike many other white varieties, ‘Jack White‘s’ fruits remain purely creamy even in full maturity, they do not get yellow or pink blushes. Beefsteak type fruit with slightly flattened and ribbed shoulders, reaching up to about 7-16oz. (200-500g). Fleshy and juicy, sweet and sour in taste, fresh and aromatic. Perfect for fresh consumption. Indeterminate, healthy and very productive plants with regular leaf foliage. Fruit have very long after shelf life. Midseason, first ripe fruit can be harvested about 75-80 days from transplant.
